Eggcelent!
Wait, you mean eggs aren’t just expensive in NZ right now, but elsewhere? Wtf is going on?
That’s like $50. Mean kids go out egging peoples houses and the people who live there are catching the eggs with fishing nets going thanks kid.
That’s not entirely true. I just own a half dozen chickens, and I am struggling to pay rent atm.
Bold of you to put them all in one basket…
😂 all of these Reddit posts about eggs are just hilarious!!
I’m thinking about paying the HOA fines for having chickens. I think it would be cheaper. $7 for 18 eggs is wild.
I am more wealthy, I got my own hens XD
Stopped by Costco on the way home yesterday to grab the normal 2 dozen eggs they sell for about $7, but all they had was a box, two flats, of five dozen eggs for $15.99. No sales tax so a pretty good deal.
We’re they bought legitimately?
Or were they… *poached?*
Thankfully my neighbor has a bunch of chickens in his backyard and he just brings me a free dozen every week. Clutch right now, for sure.
where
Why would you design this thing to hold 21 eggs when one more row would have got it to 24 and made it work perfectly for egg cartons in sizes of 6/12/24…
18 for about $6 where I’m at. Still a lot but I saw some people paying double digits.
21 is an odd number of eggs to have. Even 20, for an egg holder, is strange.
So about 7 dollars, big whoop.
My fridge was accidentally turned off for a few days and I just had to throw away a lot of food, including two dozen eggs. The eggs were one of the saddest things I had to toss.
Is this Facebook?
I will sell you my youngest daughter for this treasure.
Depends where you live. Here in Washington they were like 1.70 a dozen a few days ago.
The egg is the new pineapple
Wow! You could make BIG profit by selling those things with our free high-speed internet! 😀
Maaannn….we eat A LOT of eggs. The last time we bought eggs from Sam’s, it was 25$. Boy, did that hurt my feelings lol.
So I saw posts like this a couple times in past days…can someone tell me what your average price for a dozen eggs is in the US right now so that I can understand? I’m from europe so I jave no clue about your food prices right now
So…uh are you single?
is this due to California new egg law
I wouldn’t keep all of those in one basket, if I were you.
I don’t get it nowhere around me has experienced a shortage or anything
Yes. More “eggs are expensive” posts. They are so funny.
