Soooo .5 point
All the hockey I’ve watched and I’ve never seen that happen before.
Goalieβs worst nightmare?
Does it count?
Correction, half almost went in, half came nowhere close.
Reminds me of baseball with finding a corked bat
now we have “corked pucks”?
My dad had that happen when he was reffing a high school game. He asked me if I knew whether it counts or not, and nope the whole puck has to cross the line for it to count.
This happened to me one time. Not because I have a hard shot. Frozen puck ice cold rink perfect spot on the puck and bar. Split in two but both pieces ended in the back of the net. It was bar league. Was awarded the goal. I have also seen it once while officiating definitely bizarre.
I did this once in practice, split the puck in two off the post and half went in. I wish I could chalk it up to having a world class shot, but hey I kept half of it.
I’m no expert, just a Minnesotan, which as far as hockey goes puts me well past just staying in a Holiday Inn last night… pucks get the shit beaten out of them. It probably had a ding out of it already, and hit the perfect spot. More people need to understand though, they are friggen tough. This is impressive and doesn’t happen often.
He split the puck in twain!
Awesome pucking shot!
Deflategate …. very Patriots likeπ
Did it count?
Everything is made to brake these days.
RIP Brampton Battalion
Neither halves went in.
