I hope things are looking for you. May brought me a leukemia diagnosis but October gave me a stem cell transplant so things are starting to look up.

    Cheers to better 2023!!!

Glad you’re still here! On a side note can you send me one of those Reesee cups! Amazing! I’m a huge fan of them. Maybe you could tell me more about your journey as well. Look forward to hearing from you!

My uncle had that. I’m still angry about it some days. I feel like it wasn’t fair. I like the shoes. I don’t know what to say right now.

You’re shoes are awesome!! Glad to hear it’s getting better!

Can I ask, if its not prying, what is the mesh over your face in the middle picture for??

Don’t answer if that’s too personal.

    Happy new year!

Never stop fighting. You’re an inspiration. Happy New Year and I hope to see an update in 2024!! ❤️❤️🥰🥰

Didn’t bring you any new shoes, though. But seriously, glad you’re sticking around. You’re a tough cookie. Keep it up.

I’m happy for you. This is so nice to see.. I lost my partner in life in August 2022 after battling for 6 months with leukemia.. she was 35. This is the outcome I wish she had. Live life to the fullest. Family and friends are the most important things.

Enjoy life and make the most of it, don’t let time just pass by. I’ve wasted a lot of time away from family and friends, and now regret that some have passed away. Did you get advice on what to eat or avoid? I’m curious about that, especially alcohol and sugar seem to matter a lot according to some.

Strong work. Keep up the fight!
How did they find your brain mets? Did you have symptoms or they randomly found it on surveillance imaging?

You are beautiful and I wish you the best of luck. We have no excuses to not be living a happy and adventurous life. Thank you for sharing with us!

Unfortunately, my 2023 will be your 2022. Was diagnosed with bowel cancer mid November. Had surgery early December and they successfully removed the mass on my bowel, but the lymph nodes they took out as a precaution have tested positive for cancer. Super glad you pulled through. I hope I come out the other end of chemo with half as much humour and spirit as I see you have in your photos. FUCK CANCER!!!

  • TigLyon

Aw man, look at the size of that Reese’s! Some people are SO lucky! Oh. 🙁

Looking at that smile, I am assuming you have a solid sense of humor. Glad to hear you are doing so well. Keep the positive attitude and keep on going. Much health to you in 2023.

    Oh yeah, and fuck cancer!

I’m 43 and had the same diagnosis and have the same mask from two years ago. I was supposed to ‘depart’ over a year ago now but I’ve just made it to another year and am doing pretty well. Keep living the best life you can, it can be a long time 🙂

I love how clean and new the sneakers look in the first pic and then how loved and lived-in they look in the third. Congratulations. 🙂

Your life is what YOU MAKE IT while you can. I LOVE EVERYONE & try to do ANYTHING I can to help others. No near death experience, just born w/o a chance by my bio-logical mother. Severe Permanent unreparable Brain Damage due to her excessive drinking, I was born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. I truly thank God though, even though 35 has come amd gone ( my life expectancy) and each day my body feels like that of an 80+ yr old, I still hold my head as high as I can and say “OK God, let’s have another go shall we”! Much Love and PRAYERS to ALL the people God has blessed with “a reason” 😇🙏🏻💜👊🏻🫂👊🏻💜🙏🏻😇

Because I have watched so many friends and family go through so much, and lost many of them, and I how I feel about it doesn’t really matter, but it saddens me to know what you have gone through and gives me joy to see you come through the other side. I am exceedingly grateful modern medicine makes it so many lives that once would have been lost continue. Thank you for sharing.
