Are the 5 layers basicly from dark to light (or the other way around)? Sorry if the question is confusing, when i read it, it sounds strange but i dont know how to put it in other words
I took a blank 8×10 cotton canvas and put 5 layers of spray paint down. Started with a coat of white, then golden sunset, orange, red and finally black.
After all the paint was dry, I converted [this](https://images3.alphacoders.com/686/686773.jpg) image into [this](https://i.ibb.co/RzPV0VS/crop-doom0922-318-Norton.png) for my laser software I use (LightBurn). Took about 7.5 hours of engraving. I then topped it with Minwax Polycrylic finish to help make the shades of red/orange pop.
Hey, I’ve been trying to do similar things, but any setting i try seems to either not get through the paint or burns too far and scorches the canvas. Like I can’t get any clean layers of white. Any tricks? Do I just need to apply more layers of paint?
